Welcome to Rocketscience Design, specialists in motion design and 3D animation for TV commercials and explainer videos. With over 20 years of experience in television and post-production, we have worked on a variety of exciting projects for direct clients and advertising agencies in New Zealand and Australia.

Rocketscience Design has produced animation for numerous companies and organizations, including Ford NZ, Noel Leeming, Westfield, Queenstown Airport, Neighbourly, Blunt Umbrellas, Healtheries, Westpac, Xero, GAS Petrol Stations, OfficeMax, Ecotricity, NZ Trade & Enterprise, Carters Building Supplies, Kiwiharvest, 350.org, Nature's Way Supplements, and Sky Television—to name a few.

The studio is based in the congenial, if somewhat sleepy, seaside village of St Heliers, at the end of Tamaki Drive. If you've ever traveled to the Amalfi Coast in the province of Salerno, Italy, well, it's nothing like that.

With a passion for the environment, Jules has donated studio time to several New Zealand non-profit organizations, such as 350 Aotearoa, Sustainable Business Network, Kiwiharvest, and Project Jonah.

Jules is a keen kitesurfer (wind and water temperature permitting) and e-mountain biker. At one time, he was a dab hand at the treacherous game of golf croquet, holding the 2015 and 2016 club champion title at St Heliers Bay Croquet Club. Currently, he is retired from the lawns due to overconsumption of Mallowpuffs during afternoon tea in the clubroom  ...  it's a thug's life.
